  • Why is there a Prayer Day at the Pentagon at all? This is a religious activity in what is supposed to be a sectarian organization. The comments here document that introducing religion into the conversation creates conflict. Trying to reconcile irrational ideologies is a fool's errand.

  • As long as unemployment keeps getting extended there are a lot of people who won't look for work very aggressively.  Bite the bullet.  Avoiding difficult decisions is what got us into this difficulty.
